watch fox news and get informed
The Media is slanted in favor of the Dems that is why they omit inportant aspects of the news and go on to some insignicant unimportant happennings instead of what's taking place in Washington. I watch all the News programs and can see how they favor a Socialist government instead of the one on which this country was founded!
When something happens that disproves all that a newspaper was trying to sell you, they just won't report it.
What news is not being reported? They generally report any and everything that is of interest.
If it's not exciting enough for the general public's appetite, it won't get reported.
Editorial slant occurs when a news organization tailors the news it reports to their particular market: e.g. physics nerds like me wish to find out what other physics nerds have discovered, although a mainstream audience may not be interested.
Prejudicial reporting occurs when a news organ places unreasonable emphasis on one variety of story over another, resulting in "leading reports," e.g. antisemitic reports in such as Der Sturmer prior to WWII and the Holocaust.
Propaganda occurs when a news organ reports only one side of an issue and then delivers a specifically unbalanced and unfair report.
Libel occurs when a news organ prints outright lies in order to cause disfavor against a specific group and hopes that their readers will not investigate independently.
Because it tends to piss off their sponsors. Imagine reporting on the dirty dealings of Congress when as the owner of the company you need their legislative powers. It is not cool to accept contracts from big oil companies then report the truth about how irresponsible they are.
There is a difference between editorial slant and prejudicial reporting. Editorial slant tailors fair reporting to the market they address. Prejudicial reporting is used only to produce hate and resultant violence.
Leftists are infamous for prejudicial reporting. They cannot do anything else.
