Sandra,  Maybe the cat is cold and wants to come in?  Do a good deed and take the cat to the nearest no kill shelter.  Maybe they can find his owner.

Most probably it means that the cat has decided out of the goodness of it's heart to adopt you.Laughing

Sounds to me like the kitty wants to come in and live there. If you can't adopt him please bring him to a rescue where he can find a home. Dogs and cats are not meant to live in the wild.

Why, Bronte. You are correct, of course.

I agree with Sparky's Mom, Take him to a no kill shelter, If the weather is nasty let him rest in the garage and let him back out.
