Mazda 3 seatbelt alarm

I'd like to know how to disable the annoying Beeping Seatbelts alarm in the mazda 3 ?

I asked the same question, as Yaniv pointed out.

 I still didn't get around to trying again but when I have some time, I will try to disable the buzzer itself as opposed to the microswitch that reports if the seat belt fastened or not to the car.

I will share my findings here.

you can get a spare metal part of the exact belt and just stick it in place,

no belt, no hassle.

 

alas, i advice you not to turn it off.

as explained to me by a mechanic from the official Volvo garage,

the cars computer will calculate as if you are belted, and in case of an accident, the air bags will inflate in a harsh manner.
