When x is not used as a times sign, it usually stands for an unknown quantity.

Love one another.

It represents unknown qualities, therefore, you must determine the value of x.

Hi
I believe that you reffer to: -2/7x=1/5
Multiply both sides by 35X to get:
-10 = 7x
and x= -10/7
