I met a guy back in May this year but he never showers althou he does wash himself he lost his ex girlfriend back in January this year do you think that has anything to do with it

If he isn't practicing good hygiene, then he could be depressed. I don't see the harm in asking him about this. If you are thinking along the lines of marriage, you should feel comfortable enough to ask him pretty much anything. Depression and good hygiene are both important subjects that need to be addressed, sooner rather than later. You are only doing the relationship a favor to face issues as they arise. Not to mention getting piece of mind right away for yourself.So ask him, find out, then move on. Good Luck to You!
