I rememeber my first day in the Corps at San Diego, MCRD. There were about

30 or 40 shitters on each wall of a quonset hut. We were taught to shit by the numbers. All in unison, 1 get in position, 2 drop drawers, 3 sit, 4 grunt , 5 second grunt , 6 third grunt, 7 unroll toilet paper, 8 wipe, 9 second wipe, 10 stand, drawers up, Then move out.  Thats the way it was in 59.
