No way.  Maples grow fast and when you cut them the stumps come back with a vengeance.  Vine maples of all species can take over like forest thugs.

Why are leftsts always so panicky?  Do you people think paranoia serves any good purpose?  After all, paranoia is only a leftist thing and that makes you real dumb.

I agree with your answer.  Maple trees put out seeds every spring and the seed germinate quickly. Even when there are fires that wipe out forests the seeds are protected under the ash and will rapidly start to grow, come spring those seedling could be a foot tall or more.
