AOL destop v 10.1 suddenly started AUTOMATICALLY ...

AOL destop v 10.1 suddenly started AUTOMATICALLY downloading email attachments. I don't know why it started, or how to stop it. It even says "file's done!" and downloads attachments to emails that didn't originally appear to even have attachments. I can't be the only one going through this. What is going on, and more importantly, how do I STOP this?

I'm sorry this is happening. Please check your Download Manager to make sure that it is not set to download email attachments automatically. To do so, please follow the instructions in our help article: About AOL download manager . (Just click the title to link.)

WHERE is Download manager?? Per AOL.. you can't keyword it on 10.1 and it is not under file

You can open the AOL Download Manager window when you are offline or online. However, you will not be able to open it when you are signed on as a Guest.

To open the AOL Download Manager window

If you are offline, click the File menu, and then click Download Manager.
If you are online, go to AOL Keyword: Download Manager. Please note that this keyword can be accessed only within the AOL software. However, the Keyword feature is not available in AOL Desktop v10.1.
