aol mail, folders

Mail disappeared from all my folders

All my folders are empty. I lost everything that I had saved - new mail, old mail, sent mail, etc. Where did it go and why did this happen? The recently deleted folder is empty, too. Could this be a virus? Is there a way to recapture these files?

Also please let me know the following details.

AOL Screen name in which you are facing this issue.
From when are you facing this issue.
Time zone e.g. EST / IST etc…
Approximate count of the missing mails.
