How do i repair a "flipper coin" when elastic breaks? Its flipper coin magic trick, but i cant seem to figure out how to fix it.  Help!!!!

I'm not the brightest guy on the block, but I put some nail polish remover into the shell of the coin with the small portion still stuck to the open side.  Wait about ten to fifteen minutes and the try to gently pry the small piece off.  Once it is removed fit the two cut sections together and put the rubber band around that the two pieces.  Use a spot of super glue to re-glue the lower half of the flipper coin back into the shell.  I hope this helps.

Yeah you'd think it was that easy. The real problem is that the elastic must be completely in the groove. If it is not then the action of the coin is hindered. The 'flap' will not compeltely fit into the shell.

There is probably a small tool that will assist in 'pushing' the elastic into the inner coin's groove. I've tried tiny screw drivers, pin head but there is always a little bulge that sticks out preventing a clean return of the inner coin into the shell.

I'll keep working on it but so far, no luck.

OK Got it.

The key was this, take a sharp pin and completely clean out the groove of the inner coin. The issue I had was that some residue was left from the last elastic. This caused the replacement elastic to not fit in completely.

My Flipper is now flipping like a pro.
