What MAC blush, lipstick, and lipglass is best for olive skin?

Definitely buy lipglass, as it enhances your lipcolor and its great to use without lipstick too.  The classic clear one is my favorite. I also really love the lipglass Splashing in a bright pink color, but its very bright pink.  You can see it on the singer MIA in a recent Nylon magazine cover.  And since you have medium olive skin that might be great for you. 

In general though, the best thing you can do is go to the MAC counter and ask them what they recommend and have them do a mini makeover on you. It's the best thing that works!

Your skintone is THE most important thing in telling you which shades to choose; for you, the answer is very easy; you want WARM tones; that is, those that have a yellow undertone......for example; you want, say, colors in the coral/peach family; NO BLUES PURPLES.... reds are tricky; there are many reds out there with a warm undertone; you DO NOT want a 'candy apple' red, which has a BLUE base to it..

The easiest way to learn about this is also very simple; OH by the way, I'm a retired makeup artist and part of my career was teaching at a modeling school, where this issue came up all the time!!

I came up with this easy method:

Get some yellow and blue paper; a small piece, say, 4 x 4 inches is fine; or bigger if you prefer; the size of the sheet is not important.

NOW when you look at colors at the store, or, say, in a magazine, or an actual piece of clothing, etc., just place the yellow and blue sheets next to it....if it's the right color for you, the YELLOW will 'blend in' or, 'go with' that color; if the color clashes with it, then you know it has a blue base...say you put the blue paper next to a lipcolor you like, and it really has no 'warm' tone to it; then it's wrong for you!

I know I tend to go on and on, but I want to make sure you get the most out of this, & that you can start using this technique; it will last you the rest of your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For clothing, same thing; in clothes, you DO NOT WANT TO WEAR:

- BLACK

-WHITE

- PINK

- LAVENDER.

INSTEAD, YOU WANT TO WEAR:

-BROWN; A DEEP RICH BROWN WOULD BE YOUR 'BLACK'

- BEIGES AND OFF-WHITES

- YELLOWS, BUT NOT BRIGHT; MOSTLY A MIDDLE TONE YELLOW

AND SO ON

again, use the yellow/blue paper test, and you will never go wrong
