What are the main causes for lower back pain that (not caused by some form of injury)? What are the factors that lead to lower back pain?

Back pain can be cause by a number of things like herniated discs, tight hip flexors, weak gluts, spinal stenosis, a tight IT band, meningitis, etc.  Some of the factors that contribute to back pain is poor posture, weak muscles, tight muscles, poor mechanics, repetitive movements, arthritis and many other factors.
