I'm trying to figure out if I'm being strung along without writing a book. Someone please name a few characteristics of stringing a person along. And would a guy mention marriage casually to string someone along? We're not dating, have never established anything because he's moved back home which is several hours away. I tried breaking what we had goin off with him once finding out about his relocating. A few weeks passed and he text me. We chatted a few mins thru text. He then called me 2 weeks later. We talked for two hours just catching up, but during the end of the conversation he asked if I could ever consider moving up north if he were to ever ask me to marry him. Thing is.. I know he's not ready for anything serious because he sees other girls plus he's a lot younger than me, and we don't even talk everyday. Was just curious what you guys thought. Without going into more detail.. Does it sound like he's stringing me along? And if you think he is, what would be his purpose since we live so far apart?

In my opinion it seems as though he is stringing you along. What is the point of seeing him if he has so many other girlfriends? If you have a "physical" relationship with him that may be the reason he is keeping in touch with you. If not maybe he just thinks of you as a friend. It is kind of strange that he would mention marriage. You should just come right out and ask him what his intentions are for a relationship with you. good luck, but don't waste your time on someone who is with so many other girls. He's not the only guy out there and you may be missing other opportunities by focusing all of your time on him. best of luck to you.
