I have lost this poem

poem they were there and so was I hiding under the rosebush boyfriend kissing sister.  When I was in Grade School our teacher always read us this poem about a little boy hiding under the rosebush while his sisters boyfriend was kissing her.  They caught him watching and he alway said they was there & so was I.  But, I can't remember the author or the name of the book it was in or the poem name.  And it is driving me crazy.  Please someone help me.  Thank You,

I also have been looking for this poem for several years.  It was recited by a boy in my class when I was in the 6th grade in Alaska. I would love to find this poem.

my aunt's, 82 years old used to recite this poem in grade school. she wants to have it printed in the family reunion book the middle of this month; Please help me find this poem; the first 2 lines are: There are so many things that the Negro likes, there are so many things that are needed.
