When going into labor, sometimes this is the first thing you look for, but not for everyone! The mucus plug can be large, anything larger than a 50cent piece is probably it. Look for a "bloody show" first though, it will be a discharge that has a pink to reddish tinge to it. Good saying to live by - "When in doubt, check it out!" Good luck!
