Did the Lord punish me for masturbating on Easter Sunday?

I've had something of a pretty rough week this week: Attendance issues bigger than last week's, and a tutor gave up on me just yesterday. I know that the Lord rewards and punishes based on what we do. In case this really was the punishment, I'm never masturbating on Easter Sunday ever again.

I'm pretty sure God has better things to do than sit in heaven and watch out for people masturbating.
