How long does it take for a math teacher to correct a single test?

Math tests are very interesting; the teacher actually has to think when grading them, rather than just looking at an answer key. If the problem is screwed up, they have to search through all of the work the person did.

So I wonder: How long does it take for a math teacher to grade a single test?

NOTE: I'm referring to tests with Algebra and equations w/ variables...

Ask calculus teachers. They try to give the most partial credit and always complain that the tests are hard to grade. A week can go by, or more, before a calculus teacher returns a graded test.

Great answer, John.

Gratitude as a discipline involves a conscious choice.....* Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.*One of the widest gaps in human experience is the gap between what we say we want to be and our willingness to discipline ourselves to get there.
