How long will God talk to you without an answer?

I remember as a child my Pastor telling me that God will only knock on the door of your heart for so long without an answer.  Does anyone know what verse that is? Or where I could find it?

Gospel of LUKE chapter 13 verse 25 ::::

KJV:

When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord,Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

NIV:

Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.' "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you come from.'

These verses do not give a time or how long God will knock on our heart.

But since you asked the question; I would think that HE is still knocking on your door. Open up and let HIM in.

Revelation chapter 3 verse 20

KJV:

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

NIV:

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.

If you are seeking God, then He has not turned His back on you.  The Bible states that God will give reprobate sinners, scoffers and mockers over to their own desires.  The kind of person God does not try to reach is one who is determined not to be reached.  However, if you think Christ is reaching out to you, you should explore that with someone who knows the Bible.  God can and wants to do amazing things in your life if you accept Him and you do not want to miss His blessings.

God wont talk to you. he can't talk to you. How can he.... He doesn't exist.

 

If you are hearing voices, then see a doctor or move to a house with thicker walls and better sound insulation
