Discuss Stanley Pembroke's answer to: How long does galactic center stay in one sign

According to legend, the Galactic Central Point will always be directly between the constellations, Sagittarius and Capricorn (they overlap).

I must now make my predictions for December 21 this year -- the end of the Mayan Long Count:

  1. Teenagers will be annoying.
  2. Two months after the election, politicians will exaggerate their claims as to their fitness for office.
  3. Two months after the election, politicians will exaggerate their opponents faults.
  4. Voters will suffer bouts of nausea trying to put up with these clunks day and night.
  5. Mothers in law will question how their daughters could have married such idiots and yet come up with such cute grandkids.
  6. There will be a one-eyed monster in everyone's front room that blathers incredible stupidity day and night.
  7. Traffic will come to a virtual standstill every morning about 7:15 and every evening about 4:30.
  8. Middle-aged men will watch football games with insane intensity and then flee abruptly to the kitchen or bathroom the instant the one-eyed monster changes from the unintelligent game to a far less intelligent advertisement.
  9. College students will be a bunch of dingbats.
  10. Leftist liberals . . . see college students.

In short, business as usual.

We learn from history that we learn nothing from history: those who refuse to learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.

As usual Rocmike is starting today's posting marathon with the same alias it ended yesterday's alias with. Renner is here to post for hours until Rocmike brings another alias out. We have the pleasure of seeing alias after alias posting for the next 16 hours going to old questions and answers no one has been on in a long time repeating the same thing over and over. GET A LIFE
