Mix one cup of white vinegar and one cup of baking soda. Use this when you are running an empty hot water cycle. White vinegar helps dissolve molds and mineral deposits while baking soda gets rid of grime, oil and unwanted washer odor.

Hoe to get the mold out of the rubber of the washing machine?

New product on the market called "WasherFresh" I found it on amazon. I used it for the smell coming from the inside of the machine, worked for me. It may combat the mold on the rubber, not sure.

It may depend on how sophisticated your machine is. If it is computerized, it may be a malfunction in the electronic brain. If it is a simpler, mechanically-cycled machine, the gears are damaged/misaligned. Either way, it will need an experienced repairman to fix the problem.

Leaking washing machine
