Why did Liz Murray quit Harvard?

Why did Liz Murray quit Harvard? Wouldn't Harvard have been the best thing that has happened to her?

Does anyone know where she is today?

She went to Columbia, to stay close to her father, because he was sick.

All in all she didn't give up on her Ivy League spot... 

She left Harvard to be closer to her fatehr who was dying from AIDS. She took care of him and began classes at Columbia University. After her father died, she went back to Harvard and graduated in June 2009 with a degree in Psychology. She is currently a graduate student at Harvard. Her goal is too earn a doctorate in Psychology and help other people from all walks of life.
