Using Liquid Zoot in Homemade Liquid laundry Soap

I am going to make my first batch of liquid laundry soap and despite all my reading still have a question. I was not able to find the recommended soaps, but was able to find a 12 oz bottle of liquid Zout. Can I use that inplace of the bar soap ? How much of the bottle would you recommend ? Bonnie
