Depends on what e-mail program you are using.  I'm only familiar with AOL {it is also the easiest and friendliest e-mail program as far as I am concerned}.  You can have AOL for FREE no matter what server/provider {COX, ATT, SBC, etc.} connects you to the Internet.  In AOL you highlight whatever you want, right click your mouse, on the drop-down menu click on "insert a Hyperlink", type in the URL {web address}, or better yet, copy it and paste, click OK and it's done.  It's better to copy and paste when the URL is long and complicated.
