The choice of words people use can help to give an understanding of assumptions in their thinking and what they obsess about. If you show someone an ink blot and ask what they see, or get them to write about something or watch them doodle scribbles you can read a lot about the person. It is possible in theory to write AI software that could take words a person uses and give indications of whether they were planning violence or other crimes.

Likewise your choice of words can be more or less effective or inflame or calm situations.
