Lightning damage to electrical appliances

Want to know how to prove that lightning struck our electrical applicances during a thunderstorm.

Call your insurance agent.  Tell when it happened.  They will send someone to check it out.  Many things will show.  You do not want to spend any time to figure it out.

Fixit 

Most of modern appliances, especially washing machines, need high energy source. If your washing machine is not working right after a thunderstorm, your power line might have been damaged or your washer has been affected by the thunderstorm. When all goes back to normal and you are sure that the normal power supply is back, test your washing machine and your other appliances.
