It could be because there is the soul that is judged as deservant of this or that by the supreme being. Whatever you may call this being, the being might then also find there are different potential ...

If everyone had a similar challenge, it would be too easy to copy other people's correct answer to the challenge.

That's a fairly good point, although I already knew that. I did forget to point it out or formulate my question well enough about it. There should be other reasons, if you don't feel that souls are all the same from the beginning. It is morbid to say it, but to be saying that is to imply they would be something like mass produced for the purpose of taking on the challenges of our earthly life. ... I hope you do't feel that(?!).Innocent
