That was sad.  And that is the reason why people do not like to get involved.  Your either fired or sued. 

Years ago I took a course with the Red Cross in saving lifes.  In mouth to mouth resisitation, if you blow a little too much air it goes into the stomach and causes stomach problem.  That person will live but then they can sue you for their stomach problems.  Of course they never win because their lives were saved and it was not intentional, but who needs the headache? 

After my certification expired, I never went back. 

That was many years ago.  I hope things have changed since then.
