I am a life insurance agent and read this question some time ago. I found it quite interesting since it is a central question for some of my senior clients. Since then I have been using the

life settlement appraisal tool at www.amritafinancial.com . I've found their online calculator there to be very accurate. Kudos to them for making such a helpful tool available for free. It has been a nice resource to screen potential life settlement candidates.
