Discuss A. J. Grady's answer to: Is life a meaningless accident of the universe or does it have a purpose?

Life is not an accident in that physical laws dictated that this environment ( the earth) would produce life as a matter of time. The accident is that the earth is and was in its present location when it formed.  Without the balance of the elements and energy provided atmosphere, there would be no life.
