Life insurance

Can I cancel a life insurance policy that I just signed up for and gave info for auto deduction from my bank.

Mimi,  Just call your agent and tell him/her you changed your mind.  They will cancel the policy for you.  And just in case, call your bank and tell them not to pay them.

Yes you can cancel a life insurance policy you just signed up for because initially everything is just starting the underwriting process to verify the app info (personal & medical). Just call your agent or your bank and it's a done deal.

Go iperson to your bank or if this is not doable,call the bank .Tell them not to honor a bank draft from the xyz insurance co,also mail a certified letter receipt signature requedted to the insurance co.Stating you want to withdraw your application and not to start any bank drafts.Also refund any monies submitted with the application.
