There is no definite way to know if life is a dream or not. or is there?... what arguments are there For and Against this theory?
there's a better argument that we live inside a computer program like SIMS. And that in the not so distant future we will have enough computing power to replicate the living experience. We find that matter is in fact tiny pixels, just as a computer image is.
The dream experience to me doesn't wash. To dream means there is another reality state of being awake? So if this reality is the dream, what is the wake? I why wouldn't we recognize the dream as a different reality than are wake state. I've occasionally woken to the feeling that my dream is real, but it evaporates very rapidly.
'I, Chuang Tzu, dreamed that I was a butterfly. With all the wishes and thoughts that butterflies has. I was completely unaware of my human nature. When I woke up, I was lieing in my bed, I only. And now, I do not know: if I was a man who dreamed he was a butterfly, or now I'm a butterfly who dreams that he is a human.' CHUANG TZU (Taoist)
P.S.:Quoted by heart, Chris, the quote is slightly longer, but the essence is here!
