Yes we do, but sometimes it depends on what you have to work with.

For the most part, we do what we want to do.  Unplanned things happen in life, of course, but most people behave exactly as they want to.  They work because it makes them feel good.  They are lazy because they do not like to work.  They are loyal and honest because they feel better being loyal and honest.  They lie, cheat, and steal because that is how they want to behave. If it doesn't feel good to us, we don't do it.  We are all made of the same stuff.  Human.

Those lucky enough to be born with the proverbial 'silver spoon' in their mouths ...often, can and do, MAKE their lives. The rest of us have to make do with what life dishes out to us...and learn to make the best of it...
