Discuss Rocmike3's answer to: Leukemia related to military service

Does anyone know of veterans of Operation Desert Storm or the current war in Iraq suffering from Acute Myelogenous Leukemia or other Cancers? iraqradiation.com

Veterans of Desert Storm and the current Iraq and Afghan Wars suffer no higher incidence of leukemia and other neoplasms than do other Veterans.

Smoking, of course, increases the possibility of lung cancer, emphysema, COPD, and oter nastiness 24-fold, but if you have served in DS or Operation Freedom, you stand no greatwer chance of these diseases than any other segment of the population.

However, if you have suffered an injury in the service, Obama bin Laden's henchmen will slow your application for benefits to a crawl in the vain hope that you will go away and die, then be forgotten, as Democrats have hearts of asbestos.
