Discuss Caitybug's answer to: Lean Cuisine Diet?

Where can I find a daily Lean Cuisine Diet? If you can buy the frozen dinners in the store, is there a way to use them to create a daily diet?

You can create a diet out of any foods you wish, because the only thing that creates weight is to consume less calories a day than you burn. That's it, calories in verses calories out. Now, if you are looking to not only lose weight and get healthy well I wouldn't reccomend ingesting Lean Cuisines regularly or any other prepackaged food for that matter. Lean Cuisines have an over abundance of salt, microwaving in the plastic packing also makes the food high in PCB content, and the worst possible offense is many of the entrees are very low in nutrients. I would not reccomend this as a sound nutritional diet. I'm assuming that you are considering Lean Cuisines for two reason, the low cost and convience. If this is the case there are plenty of ways for you to have a nutritious, low cost, and easy weight loss program. For this situation your best bet is to first do some minor nutritional research to understand exactly what your body needs for health. It's pretty simple really, your body needs all the food groups daily and in their proper portions. Check Havard School of Nutritions public information page out, http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/. If you are medically overweight and you eat proper daily nutrition your body will automatically shed excess pounds and reach it's set point weight. It's really that simple. There is no fads to long term weight loss and health. Now if you incorporate some form of daily exercise it will speed the weightloss up and also improve your health, which is certainly something to consider. Good luck on this endeavor and remember if it sounds restrictive or to good to be true then it's bad for you!
