why someone is always late I am always late. I start getting ready and it seems as I have enough time, but I am late. Last night I was late to my boyfriends party. I think that was the last straw.I don't realize that he felt very hurt and de valued..He did..I was just so tired..

People who are chronically late to functions are self centered instead of "other" oriented.

If you keep the other person's feeling in the forefront of your mind, you will plan ahead and never be late, because you do not want to cause them any discomfort.

If you don't care about the other person's feelings and only are thinking of yourself, you will never plan ahead and will remain inconsiderate of others.

You will also stop getting invited out. You'll stop being "part of the group" because "the group" is tired of you being late.

You shouldn't take it personal when friends dump you, you aren't taking it personal what time they say to meet. (Ever look at it that way?)

I think you left a clue when you said "I am so tired"...

Do you take Iron? Multi-Vitamins? You should. You could possibly be anemic. Ever thought of that?

Also...plan ahead, Honey. Once you have an invitation or an appointment...decide on what you are going to wear ahead of time...shoes included. Lay it out. If you have to shower before you go...take a lukewarm shower and if you don't have heart problems...top it off with a quick cold splash. HAH! That'll wake your hiney up!

One last thing...set your clock 15 minutes ahead of the correct time...and stick with it. Just forget all about what time it really is.

I just had a cruel thought...everytime you're late...stick a needle in your eye. That'll cure you!!! Just kidding. I'm sorry.

Seriously though...you should have your blood checked for anemia. And never overtake iron...you CAN overdo it!

When I was young...I used to say...There's only one thing worse than being late. Being early. But once you get ready and make it to your destination...you'll have time to sit quietly, take a deep breath...and pat yourself on the back. You're a big kid now!!!
