Well, different people have different experiences, and a lot depends on what laser is being used and which part of your body you're having done. However, most people agree that laser hair removal does hurt at least somewhat. A lot of people compare it to getting snapped with a rubber band.

It's very effective in permanently removing dark hair on fair skin, but somewhat less so for other hair/skin color combinations. The technology is improving all the time though.

Treatment typically involves 3-6 sessions, with the possibility of some followup treatments to touch things up later on. Followup treatments are usually shorter and cost less than regular treatments.

However, I'd like to add that my own experience with laser hair removal wasn't that painful. In fact, the doctor I talked to about this treatment at the Heber Davis Skin Clinic told me that many skincare specialists use laser equipment that's specifically designed to elevate the client's level of comfort before and after the treatment.

That means no more numbing creams or treatment gels to apply on your skin. This also reduced the treatment's duration to only 15 minutes per session. Quick and painless? That immediately sold me to the idea of getting a laser hair removal done on my face. So now, facial hair begone! Hello handsome! LOL!

Honestly, I had the same doubts and questions as you have mentioned. I wanted the treatment done on my upper lip, cheeks, lower jaw, and chin - areas where the skin is very sensitive and irritates easily. I imagined the laser would likely burn like hell. I was wrong about that. The slight sting was nothing to cry about. Also, the soreness and skin redness I had after the treatment was effectively dealt with an anti-bacterial topical cream to prevent infection and reduce irritation as my skin healed itself.

Although I had my concerns, I didn't change my mind or felt hesitant. I was determined to go through with it. Good thing, I didn't have to deal with the crappy notion that only women would want a hair removal treatment. Unknown to many, us guys also strive to take good care of our skin and keep a well-groomed appearance. A common reason for laser hair removal men tell their friends and colleagues is to remove unwanted hair on their backs and chests. Men often left alone the hair on their arms and legs.

For hair removal laser treatment is not good for you. You can use any hair removal cream or you can use waxing treatment for temporary hair removing. Or If you are interested in permanent hair removing then you can use electrolysis hair removal treatment. I also wanted to remove unwanted hair permanently, then I had taken electrolysis hair removal treatment from "Kimberly K Hair Studio". They give the best treatment for permanent hair removing.
