Losing time is a classic symptom. I don't know how to tell you this, but your computer is being abducted by aliens. Line your walls with aluminum foil and things should improve.

You are probably just moving too fast and suffering from time dilation. Slow down.

I don't know if this is true of laptops as it is of PCs, but computers have a battery which is to keep track of the time and date and to keep other things safe. Losing time is usually a sign this battery is wearing out. They're like those flat, round batteries you get for watches.

If a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then that makes me a burning truck filled with TNT hurtling through a rocket fuel depot.
