how do I get my lab to stop barking ,nothing is there and hes barking I have tried basic things,teward system,sitting with him and it just goes on and on

If nothing is working then just see him a doctor. he might have some health problem.

You can purchase an anti bark collar, which gives the dog a mild shock after they bark. The shock increases in intensity with each additional bark occurring within 30 secs of the previous bark which should stop the problem quickly. You can probably just do a search for anti-bark collar. I purchased one made by Guardian at Kmart and it works great. I transitioned my dog to a regular collar eventually.
