Would knowing when you are going to die make your life better or worse?

Would knowing when you are going to die make your life better or worse? I feel like if EVERYBODY could know, we'd have a lot of people acting more selfishly than they already do, making life in general more miserable for everyone.

It might not be a good thing. If I knew that I was going to die when I was 100 years old after spending 20 years in a wheelchair while wearing Depends, I strongly believe that I would have to kill my self in another 20.

Keep close to Nature's heart... climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.* Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.*One of the widest gaps in human experience is the gap between what we say we want to be and our willingness to discipline ourselves to get there.

A disaster of epic proportions!....If everyone knew the exact time of their deaths ..most likely everyone else would know to!....And that would lead moral degeneration on a level unknown to any other life form!....

But on the other hand ...being the generous guy I am ...I would supply Jay with a 20 year supply of ...depends....

What?....Who?...Me?... .....What'd I do?..... Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of crap by the clean end.
