I have received at least 3 letters from Kathrine Hardoy, she states she

is a Microsoft executive. This, I believed being that the letter had the microsoft logo, etc. Since this letter appeared legetimate I was in tears

of my good Blessing. I am 60 yrs. old, and my house is going into forclosure

because of the nursing home where my Father is being cared for has drained

his bank account and at $5,600 per month to stay there the bill is now

up to $40,000. Now his house, which I was to inherit, and where I now

live is being taken by the nursing home. This in itself is a scam. Now,

think of how I felt upon learning that my email was randomly chosen

by "MICROSOFT" . All of a sudden I could eat, sleep, and breathe again.

Afterall, this was not some obvious Nigerian foreign company trying to have

me bring money into the country. This was Microsoft!! I really am still

so upset . I wrote back in a business format thanking the company for

such a great and useful deed. I was at peace for a couple of days.

I had not heard back from her. I then without much thought Googled

her name to find her position at Microsoft, and a phone number to

contact her. I was shocked when there she was labelled a scammer.

I, being mentally fragile at this time in my life when I am about to be on

the streets, went hysterical. I cried and did not eat for days. Were it not

for my spiritual nature I would have committed suicide. If this woman

is hiding behind Microsoft, then I believe Microsoft should have her prosocuted.

Because so many people in this country suddenly have become so financially

burdened, I fear like myself someone will go over the edge. This is a

dangererous situation. Everyday I receive an entry in the Publishers

Clearing House Sweepstakes, so already as we have seen people receiving

their large checks on television. This puts one in the mindset that winning

is possible. So, naturally when an executive from Microsoft (Bill Gates)

informs you of winning several million dollars, it is not hard to believe.

Where can I find more information about this woman, and can Microsoft

stop her. Thank you for your time, jennybrooks7@hotmail.com (Yolanda)

Jennybrooks7 I am so sorry to hear about your ordeal. Wow! I can't believe anyone would be that big a vulture, but they are all over out there. Have you contacted Microsoft personally, I would think anyone operating a scam under their name, Microsoft would surely want to find this individual and prosecute them to the maximum!! File a complaint with them concerning this individual (undoubtedly not her real name, making it more difficult to find her) and maybe they can track her activity from different sites and pin her down. I sincerely hope they catch this worthless piece of crap before she does anymore damage, or totally destroys someone's life like she almost did yours. The next person may not be as strong as you and succumb to total despair.

It's sad to admit that there are so many ruthless, greedy "people" out there, but the fact is, there are. You know the old saying, "If something sounds to good to be true, it probably is." For future reference, beware!

Dear Annette,

Thank you for acknowledging my question regarding Kathrine Hardoy.

It is uplifting to know there are still compasionate people in this world.

I have not looked into any results regarding Microsoft. I did write to them,

but received no reply. This is still upsetting, especially due to the fact that

the email I received was a perfectly worded business letter. I did provide my

information, since it was Microsoft. I am not a really stupid person, as I have

received many scammers asking for money. This, from Microsoft--Ms. Hardoy

was obviously seeking identify info. I hope I don't show up on "America's Most

Wanted", with whatever she does with my identity.Foot in mouth Again thanks for taking the

time to reply. Best wishes, Yolanda jennybrooks7@hotmail.com

I promise to help anyone who ask . Also, I will be more vigilant with my own identity. Thanks, jennybrooks7@hotmail.com
