Will JK Rowling's new "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" eventually be for sale?

Will JK Rowling's new "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" eventually be available for the public to read?  She is only having 7 books printed and auctioning the books.  Proceeds will go to The Children's Voice, a charity that helps vulnerable children across Europe.  What do you think about this new book?

In the words of Mel Brooks, "The Search for More Money"...

I think it will very quickly leak on the web and then it will be grudgingly published, not before the Harry Potter books got a nice boost out of it if anyone has managed to miss the earlier release of nook 7.

i do really hope that the books are eventually available... it would be really interesting to read, and i'd rather have a book than seeing some leaked version on the internet.

It's not the mountain we conquer... but ourselves

Yes it will eventually be for sale.  She is only auctioning one book though.  The other six are being given to 6 people who have been important to her during the writing of the Harry Poter series.

i think they will be, eventually and if they are if will totally be worth it. But if everyone else in the world got to read them before her selected family and friends, it would kind of ruin it really.. they wouldn't be as special.

I certainly hope they will do a paperback of this so her fans can get the stories, or at least publish on online version that you can read on her site or something.

i hope that they are going to be available for sale.  i don't see why some rich person who only wants to put it in a trophy case should get it when there are millions of fans, myself included, who want to read it.

I would encourage her to publish the book for public reading. Why not? I like the idea of using a special edition for a charitable cause, but what about her millions of Harry Potter fans that have encouraged her all these years? Does she feel no obligation to let them read it? Sorry JK, but I think you need to reconsider the millions of fans that can't afford $65,000 to bid on the book.

I think she should mass produce it so everyone can get a copy, and have part of the proceeds go to charity.
