I think the quality is better to similar necklaces.  There are only 13 pearls so you could wear it doubled if you've got a small neck.  As with any long necklace, you need to be careful not to catch it on things.  Amazon has lots of great deals and are also offering additional 20% off jewelry if you have an Amazon credit card.
