you should go to a part of Tokyo known as Shibuya. It's like the Times Square of Japan but on steroids. Shibuya contains many shopping centres and it's all of the cool people go. It also contains the worlds busiest intersection.

Shibuya is soo busy on the weekends, that they actually close down surrounding streets so that there's enough room for all the people.

Japanese Gardens for relaxing

Hey,

There are tons of cool places to go like Hokkaido in the north or Kyoto and Tokyo. It really matter what you like. I live in Japan and love it here when you come make sure to take a trip to the Tohoku region.
