Well the obvious reasons would be because he really loves her and is not fighting his natural urge to kill her.  His family do not want to kill her and being with Jacob does not make other vampires chase after her.  Jacob is also really cute and she would lead a relatively normal life!

There is no reason why Jacob is better than Edward for Bella. Edward is the only one for her. GO TEAM EDWARD!!!

Jacob does love her, but with his temper it would be too dangerous, I mean look at what happened to Emily.  Edward loves Bella more than anything, and although her blood is appealing to him, he would never hurt her.  Edward is much better for Bella. GO TEAM EDWARD!!!!

I think Jacob is better for Bella because Jacob helped her through her harsh times and everything. Besides, Jacob is way hotter!!! GO TEAM JACOB!!
