You dont develop a web 2.0 company. A company develops a web 2.0 product.

and there are a few. Spotback, Yedda , Metacafe.

Its a too big of a question. What defines web 2.0? a design? social skills? you cannot truly answer that question.

Web Two Point OohhhYeahhh .

Hi Alon, thanks for the answer. I'm looking for Israeli Web 2.0 companies in the vaguest of terms - where the users provide the content and collaborate. I'm doing a series of posts about Israeli web 2.0 companies on a blog where I contribute. I'm also working on a piece for Israel21c.org about web 2.0 companies and figured that it would be interesting to get information about the topic via an Israeli company, hence the post here.

I understand on a "philosophical level" that the term Web 2.0 is not well defined but the more companies that launch products, the more similarities we see in what drives the product. Thanks again.

I know a little about a lot of things....

ok , then i guess spotback , i4giveu.com , bugile.com , metacafe.com , yedda.com , go2web20.net , gizmoz.com , ...emm... letme know if they are any good.

If you go for a borader definition (User involved/User content/Communittee applications) the number is closer to 30 (shopping.com qualifies as well...)

Check this blog for some examples: http://www.israelwebtour.com/blog/

(BeInSync , Fixya , FoxytunesILCU, inter8ing, KasambaMyHeritage, RadarSyncSkylowSpearCastTrusted OpinionViewScore)

Go2web20.net is not a technology company, but it ranks others and can help as a reference guide

Some names have been mentioned by other replyers here, other names you can look into are Gigya, InterBine, MuseStorm, Olivelink, CoMagz, g10L and Mobixell

I know I don't know it all <a href="" rel="nofollow" cl="http://g.cathrina.googlepages.com/home" class="comlink">Check my google webpage</a>
