The Turks have quite a few enemies with war-planes, such as Syria (mainly water-distribution problems) Iran who develops nuclear capabilities, the Kurds, that are also scattered in Iraq, and that could be supported by one of the a.m. countries, and not to mention the Armenians, that are highly persecuted by Turkey, and now have an army with an air force to revenge...

Israel is not one of Turkey's enemys, despite the fact that Turkey is a mainly Muslim country. On the contrary: Israel & Turkey have lots of cooperation between their armys, who are training together on a regular basis.
