This really isn't a qeustion and more of a statement. I've noticed that the Islamic Faith get's a pretty bad rap, and what really gets me is, most people who decide it's evil, or fear it. Don't know all that much about it. So I just thought I'd provide some info.
Another view of the misconceptions.
And keep in mind, that the men you see on television teaching hate with explosives, are just as ignorant as any other religious faction that decides to kill. Just a bunch of isolated extremist, who use the Qur'an to their own views. Just as the bible has been used. The third world in the middle east is like a step back in time to the days Age of Religion. They take it very seriously and in places it may seem too much. But the bible went through the same thing, and came out the other end. So I simply ask people to only look poorly upon the extremist and not see the whole religion that way. If I've helped anyone learn more about it, I'll be happy.
All I can say to you is that I have read an online interlinear translation of the Koran, and it certainly has passages that clearly support the thinking of Jihadists.
I do not place all Islamists in one basket, there are many good decent ones. But I do think that the Qur'an is flawed and should not be used as the final authority for all spiritual decisions of Islams.
Fargone What is your opinion on when the religion of Islam started and with who ? Was Mohammed the continuation of the Islamic religion or was he the beginning of it ? There is a reason behind my questions with no malicious intent.
Muhammed wasn't the start of Islam. He was the prophet whom Muslims considered came after Jesus and had the last word.
And the Koran, like the Bible, is very subject to interpretation and misinterpretation, by people with their own agendas. If it wasn't, there would be only one Islam. But there are Sunnis and Shiites and a few others. Just like Christianity has many sects with varying beliefs.
Hey yows whoever you are with this Islamic mith, let me tell you about Islam since you do not know anything. I've studied compparitve religion and believe me Islam, a true fundamentalist that is, is nothing more than a terrorist religion. I don't feel liike getting into all that I know right now but just read sura 48, 49, 50, 51, & 53, there you will know the meaning of this terror religion. it is not of God.
Example, they clearly make statement like : your mission in life is to capture all Jews and Christions then murder them" that's right it's in there. Read it's evil words and learn from it.
Oh please, I've studied world religions all my life. I've read pretty much every holy book there is from religions that have holy books. You can't even seem to punctuate sentences properly. Your hatred for Islam, like so many people, causes you to misinterpret the Koran to serve your own purposes. I give facts, not opinions. I spread knowledge, not more hatred.
carlos, I may know more than you think. Tell me though, what do you know about Islam before Mohammad ?
Do not be fooled. Islam is of a demonic nature. First of all it was Mohammed who when praying was supposedly visited by the angel Gabriel who gave him the message of Islam.
The bible clearly states: Galatians 1:8 "Let God's curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you." The reason why this was said because the "Good News Gospel" was given to all of us through the living God, Jesus.
Because the devil hates God's creation, (mankind) is aim is to deceive and destroy man. The devil is an angel - a fallen angel and wants to bring you down.
dayzsnblume I think you are the one that is being fooled. Do you think that a religion that has its people get down on there knees every after noon and prays to the same God that we believe in is demonic ? I don't think so. I do think that they have problems with misinterpretation of the word of God the same way Christians do. Look at it this way, as Paul was the greatest persecutor of Christians because of his love and elegance to the I Am, he also became the most brilliant defender of Christ but only after he got his butt kicked. I look at Islam somewhat like the old Saul before he became Paul. There is a reason for everything and it is up to us to fined the answers. Hatred is not one of them.
