Soft Haired Irish Wheaton Terriers are very expensive simply because the American kennel Association hopes people do not over produce them lhus, making them hard to come by and very pricey, I had one, given to me by a doctor whose former wife did not want it and he did not have time to spend with it. Ihad this dog from when it was three years old until it was   eighteen  years old.  In  all the time  I had this  dog  it never needed to be on a leash, it caME  WITH ME   ALMOST EVERYWHERE EVEN IN  MY CAR AND IT SEEMED TO UNDERSTAND    the  English language LANGUAGE    QUITE WELL.  we traveled together to many different  states and he  always sat in the  seat in front, next to me.   He    greeted  strangers with caution   abut was  not aggressive  ever.   If I  were younger   i would   have another one but i am  70 now and already own   2  dogs.
