I am very happy to see so many states have said not gonna do it...........for now. It is not actually due to be implemented until 2014 before then we could possibly have a new president and a new Senate. I agree they should not jump into this and though questioning Justice Roberts for crossing over to the Libs there is one redeeming factor and that is states cannot be punished for refusing the Medicaid part of the bill. This is good because that means there will not be millions of new people on the take at the espense of the tax payers.

None of the states including Florida per Scott will refuse to abide by the Federal Law in 2014 and Scott has said as much. It only makes sense to wait and see what will happen.

One would think the addition of the 16,000 IRS would bring the fact home this is indeed a tax. Those college students living at home with their parents, not being able to find a job will be taxed by the penalty if they have no insurance. If they have no jobs then the burden will naturally fall onto their parents. There is so much more that if implemented people will begin to be affected by this watching their neighbors, friends and family being pushed by the IRS and put into very bad positions.

I read the employers part of the bill and the individual responsibilities of each person and I was shocked at what I saw and amazed that just now people are addressing this along with the other really disasterous parts of this horrible bill that encompasses in its' thousands of pages things none of you will like because it has nothing to do with insurance and everything to do with control of your lives and property.

Look to what happens if you or someone you know does not pay their taxes. We are talking lose of property within your home and assets you own. Anything of value you have will be dived into, investigated and confiscated to pay the tax you owe. You know it even includes jailtime which was part of the original bill til people screamed but it still remains a possibility because we are talking not being able to pay a tax.

I believe if Obama is re-elected that he will be Impeached for sure. We already have enough to do that and it should have been done when he set his Czars into place. Everyone has held their tongues in check and even Europe has questioned why he has not been Impeached they do not understand our PC. However this will not hold water forever especially if Obama is re-elected or if 2014 roles around and people have the glaze removed from their eyes related to Obamacare.

Right wing talking points by a government dependent far right hate monger. A child is covered by their parents policy until they are 27 years old. When we have more democrats as governor, more democrats in the house and a larger majority of democrats in the senate are country will be better off. Obama will win another term.

It is hardly surprising that so many State Legislatures have rejected key provisions of Obamacare, as it is so unfair and so severely unbalanced. Our coolest and most rational minds find Obamacare utterly unacceptable because it persecutes all who do not revere Obama quite literally as a "deity."

Kaiser permanente and Blue Cross have raised numerous concerns about this extremist law and its absolute party favoritism -- that of course degenerates to outright racism by its extended effect.

If one is not a corrupt and greedy Democrat do not expect any benefits. Such is the partisan and exclusionary tone of this bitter thing. That makes Obamacare utterly anti-American in every way.

Alas, only racists ever approved of this madness.

Rocmike 4 hours of posting under your Bill alias, 1 hour under your Melvin alias with some anonymous comments thrown in. This is not counting your other aliases. Another lonely holiday with no friends and nothing to do but sit in front of your computer and repeat your insane right wing hate over and over. It is no wonder why you are avoided and a social outcast.

Bill I keep remembering what Justice Roberts did say. The SCOTUS can not deem a tax unconstitutional until such time as that tax is implemented. To me that says time will tell.

It appears there will be much challenged in the Bill eventually because so much of it has not been exposed to the public and even those who voted on it did not read all of it. The challenges will be many and often and I truly believe it will fall from the weight. Already they screwed-up royally with the Exchanges. They are kicking their asses now because of it but too damned late.

AC the age is 26. If the offspring is working his or her income will be incorporated into the deciding of just how much tax he/she will pay for not having the insurance the government says is adequate. As a matter of fact I read the Bill related to what is adequate and Tricare which I have is OKd but considered minimum along with other well known insurance programs.

AC you will not keep the Senate, you will not overcome the Congress and Obama will not be president even if he were to win because he will be Impeached. Someone somewhere in this country knows and is waiting for the moment to get those documents that will implicate Obama in the "Fast and Furious." Axelrod hearing that "FAst and Furious" is being compared to "Watergate" like the whinning baby he is and the tit for tat and cowerd running away from the likes of me and mine on the playground after lying to the teacher had the insipid adaucity to insinuate that Romney was akin to Nixon in his secrecy. When Romney has complied with every requirement to be in the campaign and when Axelrod was asked straight out are you saying Romney is a tax evader he sheepishly said no because the sonwithout a father could not say anything less.

Speaking of which tax evasion is a passtime with your Dems. Geithner and Rangle come to mind.
