When using aol my IE8 says it cannot display page when there seems to be no reason for it.

I found that this happens to me sometimes too with internet explorer. I use Mozilla Firefox now most of the time. It's much better.

Go to:...Start>Control Panel>Internet Options>Content....Disable: Content Adviser, set password ....in settings: adjust content slide bars for nudity, language, etc....click : Approved Sites and add: www.Internet Explorer.com , www.firefox.com , etc.....And be sure to disable Content Adviser, via password, click OK.
